At the General Assembly on 17 May 2019, the shareholders of the former Winterthur Instruments AG approved the proposal of the Board of Directors to rename the company coatmaster AG. The new company name reflects the company’s brand strategy to market its products worldwide under the name coatmaster.

“As part of our global marketing strategy, the renaming of our company is a further step towards establishing our leading coating technology worldwide under our brand coatmaster,” said co-founder Prof. Dr. Nils A. Reinke.

“We are convinced that with this measure we have created a good new basis for our global expansion plans,” says founder Andor Bariska.

“Since the creation of our new Internet domain coatmaster.com and the relaunch of our website in early April, we have already noticed a significant increase in the demand for our products from international customers. The harmonization of the company name is another important step in the implementation of our marketing strategy.” says Reinhard K. Stary.
