As a Customer Service Engineer 80-100%, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers worldwide by ensuring reliable installation, maintenance, training, and troubleshooting of our state-of-the-art measuring systems. With a strong focus on service quality, flexibility, and technical expertise, you will contribute directly to customer satisfaction and to coatmaster’s success across industries. You ensure our customers get the best out of our technology worldwide.

Location: based in a region with convenient access to Winterthur.
Your profile
- Technical education in electronics, mechatronics, automation, or similar
- Service or customer support experience in an industrial environment; ideally coating, surface treatment or automation
- Hands-on, structured, and precise working style
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to improvise
- High service orientation, flexibility, and resilience
- Ability to build strong relationships with regional service partners
- Team player across Sales, Service, and R&D
- PLC experience preferred
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally 40 to 60%
- Valid driver’s license
Your tasks
- Commissioning of coatmaster systems worldwide
Preventive and corrective maintenance on-site and remotely - Calibration and repair work in-house and on customer sites
- Customer training and product demonstrations
- Testing, qualification, and development of new applications
- Troubleshooting in close collaboration with customers and internal teams
- Contribution to integration projects and continuous process improvement
- Testing, programming, and optimizing PLCs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Rockwell, Beckhoff)
